2015 Vacations

Categories Now that the New Year is already four months old, there is not a second to waste to get out there and start living!  It is no surprise that one of the more popular New Year Resolutions is to travel more frequently.  And let’s be honest, doesn’t visiting some of the most beautiful destinations in the world sound more fun than trying to lose weight… again?

1. Milan
   
   What does Italy’s second largest city have going for it?  Well, it is host to the 2015 World’s Fair.  From May through October you will be able to experience themes, which include “Feeding the Planet”, and “Energy of Life”.  The exposition site will cover approximately 272 acres and will see 29 million visitors over the six-month span!
   
   
2. Singapore
   
   Help celebrate the isle of Singapore’s 50th anniversary celebration of independence!  Throughout the entire year the county will host fireworks, lavish parades, shows, and youth rallies.
   
   
3. Mons, Belgium
   
   Probably not a travel destination you would think of on your own, but Mons will be a very popular destination in 2015.  The tiny city of under 100,000 people will host more than 1,000 cultural and artistic events that are expected to bring in up to 2,000,000 visitors.  Come to Belgium to be a part of the much-anticipated European Capital of Culture.
   
   
4. Coober Pedy, Australia
   
   Celebrate its Centenary with special events that include an opal festival, gem show, marathon, dances and street parties.  Travel to the land down under for an experience you won’t soon forget.
   
   
5. Faroe Islands
   
   Archipelago located between Norway and Iceland that is beautiful in it’s own right but will be far more popular in 2015.
