If your cruise is stopping in Nassau, Bahamas then you are probably faced with a tough decision…what should I do for my one day excursion?  Well, the first question we would ask is, what do you enjoy doing the most?  Take a look at our quick guide to find out where you should spend your time depending on if you are looking for an adventure, relaxing day at the beach, or a dining experience with the locals.

Atlantis: Adventure Seekers

Atlantis has a lot to offer that will make your stop at Nassau one to remember.  One of the most popular excursions is Dolphin Cay where you and your family can swim and interact with live dolphins!  You will receive a swimsuit and snorkel to see these majestic creatures up close and personal.  In addition, you and your family can spend the day in the water park enjoying a not-so-lazy river and even a water slide that goes through a shark tank.

Cable Beach: Beach Loungers’ Paradise

Cable Beach is a four mile stretch of beautiful white sand with the clearest ocean water you may ever see.  Many past Cable Beach visitors even experienced some of the marine life while swimming.  Colorful fish might swim next to you as you enjoy the beautiful water.

Arawak Cay (Fish Fry): Foodies and Bar Hoppers

Arawak Cay seems like your average island fish market but it actually has a lot more to offer than some of your “run of the mill” food and drinks.  Arawak Cay is famous for their absolutely delicious and unique seafood dishes like conch salad and their beer selection which includes their local Kalik beer.  Not only is the beer local, but the entire atmosphere is as well.  The Fish Fry offers live music from local bands and even local, intense domino tournaments.
